Myspace Friends- Know How To Market To Them: Part-4
In the last article we learnt something about commenting on myspace to market products to your friends. In this article we will learn how to effectively design the comments.
Types of comments- To begin with, please note that you can get comment graphics designed in JPG, GIF or flash. Let us understand the differences. In flash comments, your friend will have to approve your comment to appear on their profile. For example, if you make a flash comment, your friend will get a message that they have a comment that has an embedded object and needs approval. They can view the comment and then approve it. The main disadvantage of this is worry about virus. Any embedded object scares a layperson. They wonder what could be that. They do not want any virus. Therefore many of them find it safer to delete the comment rather than opening it and risking a virus. The very thought of virus scares people and they are in no mood to view your comment positively. You wish that they received your message in a fresh frame of mind. Am I correct? Then please avoid flash comments for marketing. You can use flash comments extensively for your other friends, because flash comments show better clarity and colors. Flash comments look fabulous and are great in sending to friends, but not for marketing. Say - happy Birthday with a flash comment. But do not say, click here and buy this with a flash comment. Say I love you, but do not say, please buy this ebook. I hope that you have got the general idea.
Weight of comment- Flash comments also weighs little more than JPG comments. That does not matter to you. But that may worry your friends after sometime. Suppose they receive many flash comments that are heavy. They will find that their profile takes a lot more time to open. They may delete the comments that are heavy. The trick is to select light flash comments. In the next article, we will find out about JPG and GIF comment graphics.
