Myspace Friends- Know How To Market To Them: Part-2
In the first article we discussed about how we can use myspace friends to increase our market share. That was the introduction to how this can be done. In this part we will discuss about adding friends and creating a friends list that we would wish to target. Let us see how?

Profile of your likely customer-

What is the profile of your likely customer? Myspace gives you search results based on - geographic location, age, sex and interest. First make a rough profile of your potential buyers. For example, you are trying to market online books on child education. Your target would be a young parent. Decide about the geographic location that you want to sell to and make a search by giving the age group. You will get a long list of results. Write to them asking to be your friend. You can expect about five to ten percent yes, if your request is made properly. Tell them that you are interested in talking to young parents, understand their problems and talk to them about solutions. You may get a better response compared to a simple friend request.
Using the friends list-

Many of us make a mistake in using the list of friends. We begin sending messages about our product right away. That is wrong and does not produce results. What you should look for are loyal friends who will turn into long-term buyers. You are looking for people who will not only buy your product/services but also refer that to their friends. To achieve this end, you need to move slowly. First start commenting them on their profile. Choose holidays, birthdays, and other reasons to comment them on their profile. If they send a mail, promptly respond to that and comment their photographs, bulletins to develop better understanding and relationship. This may take some time but believe me that it is worth it. From here you move forward to inform them about your product. We will discuss that in the next part. Click- myspace graphics
