Are Your Emails Being Read?

Or are they being deleted before your reader finishes the subject line.

Changing a few simple things can make all of the difference in getting your product sold or not.

It does not matter if you are marketing a something that is free or has a price tag of $200. These techniques will help in getting your reader's to finish what you have sent, plus get them to take action in the end.

Here are just a few things you can change that will raise the curiosity level in your reader…

*Don't give away what your email is about in the subject line.

This is a sure fire way for them not open your email, if you tell them in the subject line what you should be telling them in the body of the email they will not open it because you have already told them what the email is all about.

*Stop rumbling on and on about what you like.

You focus should be on your reader not what you want this is not about you, its about offering your reader something they can use, or help with solving a problem.

*Get to the point.

Don't talk about anything other than what the topic is about stay on track with the subject at hand. Not staying on track will cause your reader to lose interest.

*Only list the benefits for what you want them to do, in bullet format as I have done here. Keep it short, to the point give them a reason for wanting to see what you have to offer.

There's one more, use the bucket brigade technique that many copywriters use. This technique will not only keep your reader interested it will lead them into the next sentence.

Why, because they will want to know what is coming next, by using this technique you may not always follow the rules of good grammar but it works like a charm. Here are a few phrases you can use to keep the flow moving...

*But wait, there's more

*On the other hand...

*With that said...

See how changing a few things can make a big difference, as you can see will not take much to see some results in no time.
