I've been in sales my entire career. I love everything to do about the sales profession, from generating sales leads, to meeting with clients and prospects, to closing sales.

One of the best things about having a sales job is that you're not stuck in an office from 9 to 5. You get to go out and drive. Drive to meetings... drive to clients' offices. And, since driving is my favorite thing to do, I love it.

Speaking of driving, my dream is to be able to drive all around the world. First up, I want to drive through North America. I'm planning for a trip shortly to drive from my hometown, toronto, to Tijuana, Mexico. Next up will be to drive through Europe. I want to visit Vienna, Moscow, Stockholm, Berlin, Zurich, and a whole lot more cities. Lastly, I want to drive through Asia as well. I've always wanted to visit Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Book Review: Small Is The New Big By Seth Godin - This Book Is Bad

Seth Godin is a marketer. He is a permission-based marketing guru. He has one of the most popular, if not the most popular, blogs on the topic of marketing. It is one of the best ranked blogs in the entire blogosphere.

Seth's book, Small Is The New Big, is a collection of his best Blog posts.

Perhaps bloggers are the new book authors?

So why would you buy the book? Why did I buy the book? I purchased Small Is The New Big because I enjoy reading in bed. It would be quite awkward to drag a computer into bed so that I can read a blog. A book is more handy; you can take it anywhere.

Seth's book is bad. And, by bad, I mean good. There are great topics, ranging from inspirational, to motivational, to permission marketing, to career advice, to entrepreneurial advice. He has a great writing style, which, makes the book easy to read. No long chapters; just short and concise articles that represent Seth's thoughts.

I'm hoping Seth started a new trend and that other great bloggers will follow suit and publish their best blog posts in hard-cover, something akin to a "greatest hits" music CD.

Tino Buntic created TradePals to provide free sales leads without cold calling to entrepreneurs across North America.

Tino enjoys reading blogs and one of his favorites is On Disruption by disruption consultant, Michael Urlocker.
